 If you need help urgently, I have compiled a list of mental health services that can help.

In an emergency, you should always call 000 for an ambulance to take you directly to hospital, especially if you are feeling at risk of harming yourself or others.

This 24 x 7 triage service consists of professionals who can come to a person's home for emergency assessment. They can also provide advice about what to do in a crisis.

24 x 7 Suicide Call Back Service is a nationwide service that provides professional telephone and online counselling to people who are affected by suicide.

Mental Health Online and MindSpot both provide comprehensive and effective online services and programs free of charge. If you’re experiencing mental distress, their services can help you understand and address your needs through self-assessment, self-help and, if you choose, online professional support.

Samaritans

The Samaritans provide 24 x 7 telephone access to suicidal and despairing people in Western Australia. Call if you are going through a crisis, worried about something, feel upset or confused, or you just want to talk to someone.

Rural Link is a specialist after-hours mental health telephone service for people in rural communities of Western Australia. The service provides information, advice, assessment, and referrals to other mental health services.

PORTS provides professional assessment and treatment for residents of WA aged 16+ who have symptoms of anxiety, depression, or substance use problem. PORTS can connect you with face-to-face, phone, and online mental health services.
